Waiting to Upgrade to Windows 10?

Still Waiting to Upgrade to Windows 10?  Here's Five Reasons to do it Now.

1.)  Start Button

The Start button is back and better than ever.  Microsoft has listened to your cries and brought back the Start button.  You still have the traditional Start features, as well as live tiles, which will serve to cater to touch screen Windows computers.  If you are one of the few who enjoyed the full screen start screen, you can enable that in the settings.  So, if you're tired of the Windows 8 interface, this is enough reason for most people to switch without hesitation.

2.)  Cortana

Windows, Google, and Apple have all been making strides in voice control for electronics over the past few years.  Do you enjoy using Siri on your iPhone?  Well, you're going to love Cortana.  You can have her set reminders, take notes, simple web searches, tell you jokes, and the list goes on.  Microsoft is also working on getting Cortana to Android and the iPhone so you can have her on all devices.

3.)  Security Improvements

The first security improvement that many have noted is the fact the Internet Explorer is no longer being used.  Along with that, there is Windows Hello.  Windows Hello allows you to sign in with just a look or a touch.  Although, many computers currently do not have a camera capable of facial recognition, it is something that will come standard soon enough.  Along with Windows Hello, Windows will continue to roll out updates for Windows Defender, Family Safety, and SmartScreen.

4.)  Microsoft Edge

With Internet Explorer being tossed aside, you now have Microsoft Edge.  One of the main features that is advertised with Microsoft Edge is the ability to highlight, circle, and make other marks on a webpage for your own personal notes.  In the future, Microsoft promises to add add-on support for the browser.  It's new and it's faster than Internet Explorer, so that alone makes it worth a try.

5.) It's FREE

Windows 10 is Free.  It won't cost you a dime, as long as you have Windows 7 SP1 or 8.1.  This offer is good for a year, so you have time to mull it over.
